Acam Instrumentation offer Semiconductor Ceramic strain gauges. The semiconductor strain gauges are backed with a polyimide material. This produces a strain gauge which is almost as easy to use as a foil strain gauge thus experience foil gauging technicians can easily use them. They are available in 1000 ohms for general strain gaguing work and 40 ohms for foil compensation applications. Ceramic strain guges are available in configurations to match the customers applications and are low cost. |
